HAYDEH CHANGIZIAN

Born in 1945. 

Former prima ballerina of the National Ballet of Iran. She began her ballet education at the Ballet School of Yelena Avedisian in Tehran. She is considered as one of the most influential dancers of Iran. She promoted ballet in the country by introducing Iranian historical motifs to the dance world of her country through her performances. She has danced in numerous ballet performances and has worked with some of the most well-known Iranian and international dancers and artists. She lives between Tehran and Lisbon.
